MARKETING MANAGER

The responsibilities of the position are as follows:
Coordination & Reporting
- Manage dozens of marketing campaigns for select product lines
- Manage hundreds of ongoing marketing activities and tasks related to campaigns
- Manage sub-contractors and vendors performing various marketing functions
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly marketing meetings
Execution & Implementation
- Execution and implementation of many company marketing activities
- Management of sub-contractors and vendors
Marketing, Branding, Positioning responsibilities
- Magazine & newsletter, Internet television shows, Conferences and events, Websites and internet assets, Social media, Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click advertising, Direct mail campaigns
Public Relations
- Official liaison to media, Pitch company executives to the media for interviews, stories, Coordinate interviews, stories, Write and issue all press releases, Pursue earned media opportunities
Job Qualifications
- Must have PASSION for marketing. A proven track record of success in marketing is a MUST
- Must be positive and optimistic. If you are by nature a whiner or complainer and /or get overwhelmed easily, DO NOT apply for this position. You must have thick skin.
- Must be EXTREMELY detail oriented, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Superior communication skills, including face-to-face, phone and e-mail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Desire to meaningfully contribute to the success of a growing organization
- 3+ years experience preferred. Min. of 2 years post high school education required
Position is in Charleston, South Carolina. Advantage is an entrepreneurial, high growth company with opportunity for advancement and lots of upward mobility. Professional development programs offered. Estimated annual earnings in the first year are $40-60K and the second year are $60-75K. A base salary is offered + large bonus opportunities for lead generation and conversion from marketing programs you are responsible for executing and managing.
