Vice President of Operations

Jenn creates a smooth path for Advantage's scalable growth. Jenn manages the team responsible for growing our Members' businesses using our strategic marketing system and the team internally focused on Team Member happiness. She speaks nationwide at elite entrepreneur networks such as Vistage and Million Dollar Round Table. A graduate of both Stanford and UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, Jenn comes to us from Richmond, VA.

As CFO, John is responsible for the financial growth and stability of the company. With an extensive background in policy and procedure development and execution, John is dedicated to leading an effective and efficient team. Prior to joining Advantage, John acted as President of Med Advantage, a nationwide Credentials Verification Organization (CVO).

As the Vice President of Member Development, Harper oversees the sales responsibilities for the Advantage team. Harper brings with him extensive experience in business development and sales management from a Fortune 1000 company. Harper is a proud alumnus of Clemson University. In his free time he enjoys college sporting events and the great outdoors.

As Vice President of Finance, Patrick manages the company’s day-to-day financial operations, prepares company budgets and forecasts, and provides strategic analysis of financial growth initiatives. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Patrick joins us from the world of public accounting.

As Vice President of Publishing, Patti oversees all editorial, production, printing, and distribution efforts at Advantage. Prior to joining Advantage, Patti worked one-on-one with Fortune 500 companies, individuals and associations, providing creative direction and oversight to their marketing campaigns. In Patti’s 20+ year career, she has personally helped 100's of CEO’s, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and authors build their brand and their business through content creation.

As a Publishing Project Manager, Alex serves as an account lead for Members writing and publishing a book and is responsible for delivering high-quality publishing services on time and budget. A Charleston native, Alex holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from the College of Charleston, is a five hundred-hour registered yoga teacher, and enjoys spending quality time with her awesome family.

An Oregon native and University of Oregon alumnus, Ben joins us from Mercedes-Benz USA in New York. He enjoys beach days, backyard cookouts, warmer winters, and exploring Charleston with his wife, Rylee.

Business Systems Manager

As Business Systems Manager, Brian oversees all the business systems used at Advantage, while troubleshooting technological issues along the way. He also helps implement processes company-wide to make the Sales & Marketing teams more efficient and effective. He is an Alpharetta, GA, native who joins us from the local organization, PeopleMatter. Brian went to the College of Charleston and enjoys spending time at the beach and playing golf.

Administrative Asst. to Member Development

Originally from Massachusetts, Corie joins Advantage following a brief but extraordinary stint in paradise. In the Virgin Islands, her work in hotel sales fostered the exceptional customer service skills she exhibits for the Advantage team. While Corie wears many hats Monday through Friday, she dons only a sailor’s cap on weekends, as co-owner of an inshore fishing company with her husband Mike and their first mates, Bongo and Marley--two rambunctious, water-loving pups.

Courtney assists the Marketing Team in drawing in new Members to the Advantage Family through social media, content creation, and special events. With a Bachelor's degree in Media Communication from Roger Williams University, this lifelong Massachusetts resident recently relocated to Charleston before the winter weather set in. In her free time, she enjoys yoga and playing guitar.

As Editorial Manager, Eland leads manuscript care and editorial engagement throughout the publishing process, bringing Member ideas to life on the printed page. Eland's background in journalism, ghostwriting, and magazine editing took him from George Washington University to the frozen tundra of Mongolia. He and his wife are currently enjoying thawing out in Charleston!

With New England in his blood, he loves outdoor activities including: golf, tennis, hiking, and anything involving the water.

She has a diverse background working with businesses to find their brand niche, while helping them tell their story. A diehard LSU Tigers fan and Louisiana native, she enjoys the great foodie experience and beaches found in Charleston.

With a background in studio art, she continually provides each Member with a composition that rivals the quality of any business book. A Hokie and graduate of Virginia Tech, she constantly strives to uphold her school's motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).

As VP of Authority Marketing, Keith supports our Member Acquisition Team. He brings to the table the shared experiences of being a business owner when helping other professionals position themselves for growth. Prior to joining Advantage, Keith was an entrepreneur and forward- thinking Project Management professional. At 23, he started his first company where he built a 10-year track record of success overseeing all phases of multi-million dollar construction and infrastructure projects for commercial, government, industrial, and private-sector clients. Since joining Advantage, Keith has helped dozens of business professionals in the fields of finance, medicine, law, speaking, coaching, consulting, and general entrepreneurship to build an Authority brand and systematically position them as the unquestioned leaders in their field.

As Senior Project Manager, Kirby strives to walk Authors through each step of their publishing process, seeing projects through their lifecycle while ensuring success and efficiency. Kirby comes to us from AMC Networks in New York and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. In his free time, he loves surfing, fishing, and traveling.

As an in-house Project Editor and Ghostwriter, Kristin works directly with Members to assist them with the writing, editing, and content creation process. Before joining Advantage, Kristin was a managing editor for three coastal South Carolina newspapers, as well as a ghostwriter and blogger for several multinational corporations and a national law firm. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston and a proud, life-long Charlestonian.

As Senior Graphic Designer, Megan works directly with members on the visual elements of their books. She specializes in layouts, as well as ebook creation. Megan is a South Carolina native, and a College of Charleston graduate. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis, and attempting to grow a garden.

Miranda's mission is to generate and qualify new business opportunities for the senior sales team. She comes to Advantage from the public education world where she grew her communication and customer-focused skills as a teacher. Miranda graduated from the University of Southern California and moved to Charleston with her husband. She loves cheering on her favorite sports teams, with the Dodgers and Trojans holding a special place in her heart!

As Web Designer and Developer, Steven lets his passion for user interactivity and design lead the way for all Member projects. He works closely with Members to deliver an online presence that is both visually stunning and rich in content. His projects range from Member websites to online learning classes. Steven is a local to the Lowcountry and a graduate of The Art Institute of Charleston, majoring in Web Design & Interactive Media.
