Rob is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Information Technology Professional with over 35 years of experience in tax and public accounting.
He began his career in 1986 with Crow, Wilkinson & Associates and was admitted as a full partner in 1990 at the age of 25. Rob developed and grew a ventured funded technology spin off of the CPA firm by the late 1990s. In 1999, Rob successfully piloted an exit from the technology company and sold his interests in the CPA firm.
Rob went on to become a principal at Arthur Andersen. When Anderson collapsed, Rob took the role of Vice President of Administration for a large mutual fund company, before deciding to return to public accounting.
In early 2007, Rob began Cordasco & Company, a boutique tax and accounting firm in Savannah Georgia. The firm provides customized tax and accounting services for entrepreneurs and business owners. The firm’s services are specifically designed to help clients capitalize on the rapidly changing tax and accounting environment during each stage of their business’ lifecycle. Cordasco continues to innovate customized tax solutions, technological advancements and operational efficiencies to help entrepreneurs grow and succeed.
Rob is a graduate of Spring Hill College where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science. Rob maintains active CPA licenses in Georgia, South Carolina and Alabama. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs South Carolina Society of CPAs and the Alabama Society of CPAs. Rob is also active in various professional organizations and private/civic Boards.
