Amanda Mikell

Director of Finance

As the Finance Manager within our Finance Department, Amanda accounts for all financial activity in our No B.S. business unit. This includes revenue, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll. Before joining the Advantage|ForbesBooks team, Amanda enjoyed over a decade working in tax accounting, non-profit accounting, and human resources. With an eye for detail, she seeks to make processes run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Amanda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Management from Clemson University.

In addition to being a Staff Accountant, she is a SHRM Certified HR Professional, speaking to her love of working with both numbers and people. Together, she and her husband Jason established the JAM Leadership Scholarship ( This scholarship is given to deserving high school seniors who exemplify leadership and make an impact in their community. Thoroughly committed to inspiring young women, she launched Girls of Excellence, a program for girls Kindergarten – 12th grade, while working with a nonprofit. The program’s purpose is to develop confident and capable girls. During the program’s very first year, Amanda recruited ten volunteers and had sixty girls register. “I may not know how to do everything, but I can learn to do anything!” She asserts. “The opportunity to live this out in my career is what drew me to Advantage|ForbesBooks!”
