Callie Hitchcock

Senior Digital Strategist

As Senior Digital Strategist, Callie leads our teams of digital marketing strategists and social media managers in crafting and executing content-driven, trackable marketing campaigns for our authors (C-suite execs, business owners, and thought leaders). Callie is an expert communicator and effectively shares the messaging for our global marketing team and our clients’ personal brand content as well. Prior to joining the Advantage | ForbesBooks family, Callie most recently served as an anchor and reporter for WJHL, News Channel 11 in Johnson City, TN (covering the Tri-Cities, a top 100 TV market). Callie also previously worked as a Communications Specialist for the City of Murfreesboro, TN, and as an Event Manager at The Hermitage: Home of President Andrew Jackson. Callie’s professional specialties include a robust journalism background, personable community and media relations, effective team leadership, supervision, and coordination, as well as brand management and marketing strategy.

Callie is a favorite among clients and contractors alike. She loves people and it shows in the flourishing relationships she builds and maintains through her hard work, attention to detail, creativity, and fluid communication. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, Callie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. After studying abroad in Spain, Callie also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. As a native Tennessean, Callie strives to always embody a volunteer spirit. She is a former Executive Vice President of the Epsilon Tau Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi and enjoys being active in her community. Callie also previously served as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the American Marketing Association’s Charleston, SC chapter. Other previous volunteer experiences include creating and leading a top TN fundraising team for Autism in her hometown, helping with Relay for Life, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Ronald McDonald House, and more.

Callie says her joy lies in experiencing life alongside her husband, Philip, and their sweet boys, Graham and Preston. Spare time is hard to come by as the mom of an energetic toddler and a baby, but any free moments would often be spent exploring new places, reading a good book, attending live performing arts events, sipping vino, hosting game nights, binging a good show, impromptu dance sessions, participating in church functions, savoring culinary treats, vacationing at the beach, and volunteering in the community.
