Courtney Little

Director, Corporate Marketing

Courtney spearheads the marketing initiatives of the greater Advantage family of brands. This includes News & Experts, BusinessGhost, ForbesSpeakers, the Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs, and No B.S. Inner Circle – with Advantage|ForbesBooks at the helm of her efforts. Courtney deftly leads the Charleston-based Corporate Marketing team in the creation, launch and execution of lead generation campaigns – spanning the realms of digital, print and events. She and her team are charged with attracting entrepreneurs and executives to grow their business with the Advantage|ForbesBooks hybrid publishing and Authority Marketing model.

As the most senior member of the Corporate Marketing team, Courtney is able to lend invaluable insights and historical data. She functions as the CEO’s internal advocate on the Corporate Marketing team, conveying his feedback, direction and ideas. She uniquely manages the backend automation of digital campaigns, leveraging a studied proficiency in SalesForce, Google Analytics, Pardot, SEO softwares and beyond.

Courtney cites tenacity as a critical feature to succeeding in her role. She is a graduate of Roger Williams University, with a major in Media Communication and a minor in Marketing and Creative Writing. Despite aspirations in print media, Courtney fell into the role of HR coordinator for a Massachusetts hospital, where she thrived for several years before moving to their marketing team. There, she helped sharpen and improve the hospital’s marketing efforts while organizing internal events and fundraising galas. Courtney has previously sat on the board of Charleston’s American Marketing Association as the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Director of Special Events. In 2018, she was named their Volunteer of the Year. She has, at different points, occupied every role on the team she leads, informing her tight grasp of the organization’s marketing efforts.
