As Director of the Authority Institute – our unrivaled, in-house marketing agency – Joe ensures that the systems and talent are in place to deliver extraordinary marketing strategies to our Members. He strives to maintain a culture of collaboration between the Institute staff and the Members they serve, assuring that our authors’ knowledge, insights, and experiences are successfully leveraged to build their Authority. With over 25 years experience in marketing, publishing, and account management, Joe is a communications industry tour-de-force. He spent 11 years with the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), primarily as their Director of Membership & Marketing, and as their Chief Strategy & Operations Officer in his final two years. He enjoyed 5 years with Golf Business Magazine, giving him an edge in the realm of publishing. Collectively, he spent 7 years in account management and strategy with the firms Rawle Murdy and Morrison. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Joe holds a degree in Marketing and Journalism. Originally from McDonough, GA, he has been happily married for 26 years and has 3 children.
