Marketing Project Manager
As a Project Manager within the Authority Institute — our gilt-edge, in-house marketing agency — Katherine Beck is responsible for delegating the tasks needed to move our Members through the marketing process. While Account Managers interact with Members directly, Project Managers, by contrast, occupy an internal-facing role. Member’s needs are passed from the Account Manager to Katherine, who then internally delegates a given task to the relevant content writer, strategist, or designer. She is a driving force in the swift completion of marketing deliverables that surpass client expectations all while managing a rapidly growing pipeline.
Weaponizing her organizational acumen, Katherine creates and updates timelines, tracks expenses, provides quality control, and is continually prepared to answer a variety of questions about the status of any given project. The nature and scope of her role allow Katherine to work with nearly everyone on the internal team, which she “wouldn’t have any other way.”
Katherine’s academic background provides a pitch perfect fit for her role at Advantage Media Group | ForbesBooks, as she studied communication, education, and English at the College of Charleston. Prior to coming on board, she worked in education for six years, where she was able to acquaint herself with a number of different learning styles. This allows for a more nuanced understanding of her team’s needs, and the best ways to motivate them. In addition to education, Katherine worked for a Social Media Marketing company where she had the opportunity to create visibility for various local companies. Katherine is from Chicago, has nine siblings, and travels as far and as often as possible.
